East from Black Cap, Lakeview, Oregon.  Flying along the center of the valley in a nice thermal that took me back up to 13,000 feet.

I landed in what I thought was an empty field.  I was suprised when a group of curious horses turned up to see what was going on.

Horses getting up close..  I really am surprised.  They came from a long way away.  I'd normally they'd be startled and scared of a glider flying overhead.

Back to Owens Valley.  September 2008.  I launched way off in the distance and flew along the mountains towards the right.  I left the mountains to come land here because I was tired and had enough.
