July 2006. This proves that Rosemary managed to get off the ground on the hang glider. Subsequent spinal problems and surgeries prevented her from continuing with this sport. Peter flew enough for two over the next few months. He now has his Hang 3 rating.

July and August 2006. Rosemary and Tristan spent the Californian summer studying Spanish at the Universidad International in Cuernava, Mexico. This is the house were they lived during that time.

In other areas, the eucalypts gifted by the Australian government have been put to good use. Locals complain the trees use too much precious water.

When the sun goes down in Cuernavaca one of the parks puts on a spectacular fountain display. The lights, spurts and music are all coordinated. A highlight of the trip.

Rosemary after eye surgery -Oct 2006

I think the eye's have it.

Oct 2006. Taken during a weekend trip to Reno, Lake Tahoe and Mt Lassen while Rosemary was recovering from the second eye surgery. It was Rosemary's last chance to get out for a while as the back surgery was immanent.
